Leadership Main Line Overview

Leadership | Legacy | Connection

Recruiting for the 2024 class of Leadership Main Line has begun.

A message to companies and organizations interested in developing leaders:
Top talent is in demand. Leading teams in an environment of change requires sharpened skills and motivation. Enterprises that have operated effectively throughout the pandemic are keeping employee engagement and retention top of mind. Whether working in-person, remotely or in a hybrid model, strong culture is a predictor of success.

It's against this backdrop that The Main Line Chamber of Commerce will launch its recruiting for the 2024 class of Leadership Main Line. In its 22nd year, LML provides leadership development in part through a lens of community involvement. As many as 24 participating leaders will interact with inspiring CEOs addressing major issues affecting the region while learning about local government and organizations that meet community need. Participants will come away with key information about the traits and priorities of successful leaders, diversity/equity and inclusion, overcoming obstacles, engaging with remote workers and utilizing nonprofit service to develop skills and connections while leaving a legacy.

Attention all Chamber Non-Profits!

Leadership Main Line Community Project

The Leadership Main Line program brings together the For-Profit and Non-Profit worlds. A major component of the leadership development process used for the class is working on a project that will help further the Mission of a Non-Profit that impacts the greater Main Line Region.

We are accepting applications from Chamber member Non-Profits who would benefit from additional people and time resources to accomplish a project that is important to the success of your organization. Click here to apply.

What to Expect

Participants acquire skills, knowledge and networks to enhance their drive, motivation and commitment to excel in leadership roles in their business and personal lives. Companies that enroll employees will get back individuals who are more keenly aware of the impact they can have on the world around them and are better equipped to represent companies in the community.

This five month program exposes rising leaders to the past, present and future of the Main Line and beyond. Participants will have unique access to inspiring leaders who will share their passions and interact with the class. The Class of 2024 will go behind the scenes at unique locations along the Main Line and meet with executives from leading non-profit organizations that are striving to meet community needs.

As part of the program, the class will use their leadership, communications and collaborative skills to complete a community project for a local nonprofit to enhance the quality of life on the Main Line. The project is another catalyst in building strong relationships among the participants.
